Acara Solutions in Torrance, CA is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler (Solder Technician) to join a highly focused electronics team. You will perform assembly of low to mid-level complexity electronic assemblies, follow tense documentation, and work in an ESD environment to ensure quality and yield.

The role requires at least 1 year with hand tools and soldering, the ability to read engineering drawings, and IPC J-STD-001 certification or the willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, required.
• Minimum 1 year experience with basic hand tools and soldering.
• Experience with electronic assembly and testing circuitry.
• IPC J-STD-001 certification or ability to obtain it.
• Strong reading of engineering prints and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble low to mid-level complexity electronic assemblies from components to final product.
• Follow approved work instructions, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Set up build records with kits and travelers; ensure steps are signed off.
• Train other operators on electronic assemblies.
• Operate assembly equipment and apply epoxy materials; form leads.
