Job summary

ITW is seeking a Soldering Operator in Pennsylvania to assemble, solder, inspect, and complete electronic and mechanical components used in flowmeters and related products. The role requires precision hand soldering, including SMT and through-hole work, following IPC‑A‑610 criteria and approved instructions.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of electronic assembly experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read drawings and routing sheets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of electronic assembly or related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience soldering surface-mount and through-hole components preferred.
• IPC‑A‑610 and/or J‑STD‑001 training or certification preferred.
• Experience assembling flowmeters or precision electronics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision hand soldering for SMT and through-hole components.
• Prepare components, PCBs, wires, and terminals for soldering.
• Inspect solder joints and assemblies for workmanship and IPC‑A‑610 conformance.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow safety procedures.
• Complete production records and traceability documentation.
