Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a setup technician for the slitting line. You will assemble tooling, use PN data to determine required widths, and input measurements into the software for precise setups.

The role requires daily calibration of tape measures, calipers, and micrometers, strict adherence to safety, and ongoing 5S housekeeping. Candidates must lift up to 50 pounds and work well in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read part numbers and instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand all shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble tooling setups for the slitting line using spacers, knives, and rings.
• Follow PN data to determine required widths for orders.
• Enter widths into software to generate setup information.
• Calibrate measuring tools daily and record results.
• Maintain 5S and safe housekeeping in the work area.
• Train next phase operators as needed.
