Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Slitter/Rewind Operator to set up and run the designated machinery, ensuring product accuracy and quality. The role includes training new employees and maintaining safety, GMP, and ergonomic standards on the production floor.

Responsibilities include reading job jackets, performing quality checks, communicating with supervisors, and keeping the rewind area clean. You must be able to lift 50–75 lbs and read measurements accurately.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing & mechanical experience required.
• Quality conscious with strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to see true color (not colorblind).
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds as part of job duties.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Must read rulers and understand measurements precisely.
• Organizational skills and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the designated slitter/rewinder equipment.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and GMP policies.
• Read and interpret job jackets/orders; perform quality checks.
• Communicate with supervisor, night shift, and management.
• Keep rewind area clean and maintain line clearance between runs.
• Record data electronically and follow the chain of command.
