Job summary

TekPro, in partnership with a Bay Area precision machining operation in San Jose, seeks a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the inspection team and assure strict dimensional accuracy across incoming, in-process, and final inspection stages.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of precision inspection experience and proven leadership. This hands-on role requires strong GD&T skills, blueprint reading, and familiarity with CMM and other metrology equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality or dimensional inspection in precision manufacturing.
• Past leadership or supervision of an inspection team.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Quality Inspectors and set priorities to support production.
• Review drawings, GD&T, and inspection plans.
• Provide technical guidance on inspection methods.
• Ensure calibrated measurement equipment is used properly.
• Investigate dimensional discrepancies with manufacturing and engineering.
• Train inspectors on measurement techniques and documentation.
• Maintain organized, safe inspection environment.
