General Tool Company is seeking a seasoned Quality Control Manager to lead the entire QC organization, including inspection, metrology, training, and calibration. You will drive strategic direction, develop talent, and ensure every part meets exact specifications before shipping.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in quality disciplines, proven supervisory experience, and a strong background in inspection and metrology.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in quality disciplines; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proven supervisory experience leading a technical function; defense-based manufacturing experience a plus.
• Track record of quality improvement projects with measurable results.
• Deep expertise in inspection and metrology; SME for inspection (non-NDT) and metrology.

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire Quality Control organization—inspection, metrology, training, calibration, and the people who make it all work.
• Develop and implement departmental strategy and long-term vision; set performance controls and goals.
• Drive continuous improvement; monitor inspection methods and ensure product conformity early in the process.
• Support regulatory audits and ensure calibration activities meet industry standards.
