Job summary

The supervisor will oversee daily workflow, enforce GD&T compliance, and coordinate with QA on CAPA, using inspection tools like micrometers, calipers, GO/NO-GO gauges, and CMMs.

Qualifications

• Education requirement includes a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience is a plus.
• 3–5 years of hands-on quality control inspection experience in manufacturing or machining.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign daily tasks to the QC inspection team to align with production schedules.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide clear feedback to address gaps.
• Provide targeted training on blueprints, GD&T, and proper use of inspection tools.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure conformance.
• Collaborate with the Quality Engineer and Quality Coordinator on CAPA and defect trends.
