Olin is hiring a Machine Specialist/Adjuster at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, MO. You will set up, operate and service high-speed production equipment, perform adjustments, and inspect components to ensure manufacturing specifications are met.

The role requires mechanical know-how, experience with tooling and measuring devices, and the ability to work various shifts with overtime.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience operating mechanical production equipment preferred.
• Ability to use power and non-power hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates machines, performs mechanical adjustments and repairs to production equipment.
• Inspects parts and finished product to ensure specifications are met.
• Uses measuring devices to verify tolerances and alignments.
• Handles material transport and machine supplies as needed.
