Olin is seeking a Machine Operator in Independence, MO to perform mechanical adjustments, operate furnaces, and maintain equipment necessary for annealing cartridge cases.

The role starts at $24.12/hour with a step to $27.57 after a 120-day probation, on a 4-10 shift including evenings and some weekend work. Strong emphasis on safety and compliance with ITAR and government access requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to read and interpret prints, schematics, and layouts.
• Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools.
• Experience with mechanical equipment and operating cranes, hoists, forklifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make mechanical adjustments to production equipment and operate furnaces for annealing.
• Perform root cause analysis for production, quality, and safety issues.
• Maintain lubrication and acid/soap concentrations as required.
• Operate overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts and related equipment.
