Job summary

Olin is seeking a Reclamation Pulldown Specialist for the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, MO. The role focuses on setting up and operating automated production equipment, performing mechanical adjustments, and repairing components to keep the line running smoothly.

The position requires hands-on experience with mechanical equipment, the ability to read blueprints, and readiness for physical tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating mechanical equipment.
• Able to operate forklifts or obtain certification.
• Knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read lathes, milling machines, and blueprints.
• Ability to lift 35-40 lbs and push up to 1,000 lbs with assist.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines, perform mechanical adjustments, and repair production equipment.
• Visual inspections of parts and components, including sorters, rumblers, and bullet shears.
• Remove, install and adjust jams, defective materials, vibration dials, hoppers, air flow, machine speed using hand tools.
• Replace minor parts and make minor adjustments to keep line running.
• Work with maintenance for major repairs, providing recommendations based on machine parts and observations.
