Job summary

M.S. Ambrogio North America in Auburn, ME, seeks a Press Set Up Operator to set up and run an automatic press for small part production, focusing on quality and productivity. You will work from SAP schedules, measure parts, and adjust tooling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Willing to obtain fork truck license.
• Experience using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates or rulers to verify specs.
• Able to interpret shop blueprints/written specs.
• Able to interpret MOSs & BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Examine pieces for defects and sort according to flaws.
• Measure pieces to verify conformance using measuring tools.
• Set stops, change dies, and adjust components for multiple passes.
• Start machines, monitor operations, and record data.
• Perform shop math.
• Direct the work of others as needed.
• Select work from SAP production schedule and confirm.
• Retrieve stock and dies as needed.
