Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of machine shop experience in press operation.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run automatic and manual presses with various dies and materials.
• Pull jobs, select the proper die, and adjust tooling for correct material height.
• Load material onto unwind stand and feed through straightener.
• Check parts for proper dimensions using gauges and inspection tools.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain SPC data sheets on orders and log results.
• Operate pallet jack and hydraulic forklift for material handling.
