Qualifications

• Level of knowledge usually associated with a specialized training beyond high school in the operation of presses and related equipment.
• One to three years of relevant machine shop experience.
• Must be capable of using micrometers, verniers, indicators, and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Pull jobs order, select die, and adjust servo for material height into die.
• Load material onto unwind stand and run through material straightener.
• Set up die with hand tools and mount safety equipment for operation.
• Maintain SPC data sheets on orders and check parts for proper dimensions.
• Operate milling, turning, drilling and tapping equipment as needed.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace and proper equipment maintenance.
