Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking an industrial crane operator for our precast production plant. You will safely operate an overhead crane, pour concrete into molds, and strip large pieces while following safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math for weight calculations, and the flexibility to work as a laborer on the production floor as needed. Training and benefits accompany a competitive pay package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Basic math skills to determine weights for lifting.
• Willingness to also work as a laborer on the production floor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an overhead crane to pour concrete into molds and strip concrete pieces weighing up to excess of 20 tons.
• Properly identify forms and products and ensure safe handling of concrete pieces.
• Maintain pre-operation checklist and inspection.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
