Job summary

ASML in Wilton, CT is seeking operators to fabricate and assemble high-precision optical components used in semiconductor lithography systems. You will work in a clean room, handle delicate optics, and ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

You will monitor CNC milling, grinding, polishing, and deposition processes, assemble optical parts with high accuracy, and participate in process validation and metrology feedback to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Associate degree in a vocational trade preferred.
• Prior experience in manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Experience with measuring equipment such as microscopes, calipers, micrometers, CMM, and interferometers is desirable.
• Participation in continuous improvement efforts (quality circles, kaizen, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and operate optical processing equipment.
• Handle delicate optical components and identify abnormal characteristics.
• Maintain area, tooling, and equipment to 5S standards.
• Identify and elevate unsafe conditions and quality concerns promptly.
• Perform work to support area and factory schedule execution.
• Collaborate with production engineering and management to improve efficiency.
• Learn and apply skills to tackle increasingly complex products.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to enhance safety, quality, output and cycle time.
• Inspect and map glass surfaces to identify minute defects.
• Clean optical surfaces to remove particles and contaminants.
• Record time and attendance accurately.
• Assist with training new and existing employees
