Job summary

ASML in Wilton, CT seeks technicians to fabricate high-precision optical components for photolithography systems. You will machine, grind, polish, coat, and assemble optics, ensuring tight tolerances and cleanroom readiness.

Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are essential for quality output and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include operating CNC milling, deposition chambers, metrology feedback, and collaborating with engineering to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a vocational trade preferred.
• Previous manufacturing facility experience or vocational certification preferable.
• Experience with measuring equipment such as microscopes, calipers, micrometers, CMM, interferometer desirable.
• Active participation in continuous improvement efforts (kaizen, quality circles).

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and own optical processing equipment.
• Handle delicate optical components and identify abnormalities.
• Maintain area, tooling, and equipment to 5S standards.
• Identify and elevate unsafe conditions or quality concerns.
• Support area and factory schedule execution; document progress.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to improve efficiency.
• Learn and apply skills for progressively challenging products.
• Identify and contribute to improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and cycle time.
