Flowserve Corporation seeks a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing and repair operations in Pasadena. You will collaborate with machinists and assemblers to tackle mechanical challenges, plan layouts from blueprints, and perform high-integrity welds across multiple processes to repair and manufacture heavy equipment.

The role demands strong technical understanding, meticulous attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required for functional welding work.
• 5 to 7 years welding experience in mechanical manufacturing or heavy industrial repair.
• Valid, current Welder Certificate required.
• Proficiency in TIG, MIG, MAG, and Stick welding and shop math.
• Ability to read schematics and perform layout planning with precision.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Execute multi-position welds across TIG, MIG, MAG and Stick as per instructions.
• Read blueprints and interpret schematics to plan workflows.
• Prepare components and align/part safely using shop lathes when needed.
• Perform manufacturing and repair welding on new equipment and repairs.
• Verify weld quality against tolerances and specifications.
• Carry out post-weld heat treatment per process documents.
• Collaborate with assemblers and machinists to troubleshoot processes.
• Record data in logs or systems to maintain documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized workspace and use protective gear.
