Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join a busy shop, mapping out builds and selecting welding methods (MIG/TIG/Stick/Flux-Cored) for carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum. You will lay out components, tack, weld, and verify each bead to spec in a safe, organized environment.

The role requires shop experience, the ability to read blueprints and weld symbols, and proficiency with measuring tools and fabricating equipment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on welding and fabrication experience in a shop environment.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Solid understanding of metal properties, cutting methods, and fabrication techniques.
• Experience using industrial fabrication tools and measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for a fabrication shop.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, welding symbols, and established welding procedures.
• Perform multi-process welding (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Cored) across carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures, components, and equipment to specification.
• Measure, cut, and fit materials using appropriate industrial fabrication tools and equipment.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to project requirements.
• Operate welding machines, grinders, torches, and related shop tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Assist with layout and fit-up to ensure proper alignment, tolerances, and overall build quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve welding or fabrication issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
