Job summary

Flowserve US Inc in Utah is seeking an experienced welder to join a manufacturing team. You will weld parts by MIG, MAG, TIG, or stick, read blueprints, and collaborate with machinists and assemblers to ensure on-time delivery and quality workmanship.

The role requires ability to work overtime, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds. A welder certificate and 5–7 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 5–7 years welding experience.
• Welding certificate required.
• Able to work overtime and weekends on short notice.
• Experience in manufacturing or repair environment.

Responsibilities

• Select welding method (TIG, MIG, MAG or stick) per spec.
• Plan work from blueprints and specs using shop math.
• Set up and operate a conventional lathe for prep.
• Identify materials and prepare components.
• Weld and assemble parts per process instructions.
• Verify weld quality per specs.
• Meet production goals and manage scrap.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
• Record data in logs or computer systems.
• Maintain safe workspace and PPE.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
