Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; apprenticeship preferred.
• Familiarity with pumps, valves, and water treatment components.
• Proficiency with lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and safety-minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain pumps, valves, motors, and gearboxes.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
• Operate lathes and milling machines to fabricate parts.
• Weld and fabricate to repair infrastructure.
• Record maintenance data and parts inventory.
