McMillen, Inc. is seeking a skilled Millwright to assemble, maintain, and machine components critical to water resource infrastructure. You will work with pumps, valves, motors, and gearboxes, performing preventive maintenance and on-site fabrication as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; millwright or machinist apprenticeship or technical program preferred.
• Familiarity with pumps, valves, and water treatment/distribution components.
• Proficiency operating lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and maintain pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes, and other components in water systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical assemblies.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, and grinders to fabricate parts.
• Fabricate and weld components for repairs and customizations.
• Inspect systems for wear, corrosion, and performance issues and document findings.
