Job summary

You will install and align pumps, valves, motors, and gearboxes, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and collaborate with engineers to improve system reliability while following LOTO and PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; apprenticeship/technical program preferred.
• Familiarity with pumps, valves, and water treatment components.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving, safety, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and maintain pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes, and other components.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues incl. disassembly and reassembly.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, and grinders to fabricate parts.
• Modify components to meet operational needs and perform welding as needed.
• Inspect systems for wear, corrosion, and performance; test after repairs.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve system functionality.
• Adhere to safety protocols including LOTO and PPE.
• Maintain organized records of maintenance activities and parts.
• Assist in training apprentices and team members.
