Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in San Jose, CA is seeking a production assembler to support mechanical assembly of microwave subsystems in a fast-paced environment. You will build circuit card assemblies, solder SMT and through-hole parts, apply conformal coating, and follow documentation to ensure quality.

The role requires at least 3 years in microelectronic/semiconductor assembly, use of tweezers and torque drivers, microscope work, and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years prior work experience in microelectronic, RF, hybrid and/or semiconductor assembly.
• Experience with wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, epoxy attach.
• Ability to use small hand tools such as tweezers and torque drivers and experience working under a microscope.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• US Person status or eligibility under U.S. export laws.

Responsibilities

• Work in a production environment to provide mechanical assembly support on complex microwave subsystems, meeting daily output goals established by your lead.
• Build circuit card assemblies, manually soldering surface mount and through-hole components and applying conformal coating after soldering.
• Follow production documentation and processes and keep detailed records of rework performed.
• Actively participate in daily production meetings.
