Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Assembler II for the San Jose, CA facility. The role focuses on mechanical box builds and hand soldering per IPC 610 within a team assembling advanced microwave subsystems for missile front ends, radar receivers, wideband tuners and synthesized sources.

You will work in a production environment, build circuit card assemblies, and ensure documentation and rework records are accurately kept. Daily production meetings are part of the workflow.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience as a mechanical/solder assembler in a production environment.
• Ability to use small hand tools such as tweezers and torque drivers and experience working under a microscope.
• Basic computers skills.
• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware controlled by US export laws; candidate must be a U.S. Person.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical assembly support on complex microwave subsystems in a production setting.
• Assemble circuit card assemblies, solder surface mount and through-hole components, and apply conformal coating after soldering.
• Follow production documentation and maintain detailed records of rework performed.
• Participate in daily production meetings.
