Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks an RF Technician in San Jose, CA to support microwave subsystem testing and circuit card alignment. You will gather test data, troubleshoot RF circuits, and collaborate with manufacturing engineers to meet schedules.

The role emphasizes meticulous documentation, tool-driven assembly checks, and compliance with export controls while maintaining a focus on quality in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years troubleshooting RF equipment.
• Familiar with microwave test equipment including network/spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, power meters and DVMs.
• Ability to use small hand tools and work under a microscope.
• Good written and verbal skills and ability to follow written instructions.
• Computer skills including Excel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• US Person status or eligibility under export laws.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot microwave subsystems and circuit cards in a production setting.
• Perform RF tuning and testing on MICs and document results for compliance.
• Follow production documentation and keep detailed test and rework records.
• Participate in daily production meetings and interact with engineers.
