Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC seeks an Assembler II in San Jose, CA to support mechanical box builds and hand soldering for microwave subsystems. You will follow IPC 610 standards, maintain detailed records of rework, and participate in daily production meetings.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in mechanical/solder assembly, can use small tools and a microscope, and can obtain security clearance. This role requires US Person status under export laws.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience as a mechanical/solder assembler in a production environment.
• Ability to use small hand tools and work under a microscope.
• Ability to solder small surface mount and through hole parts; IPC 610 certification a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Person under export laws.

Responsibilities

• Work in a production environment to provide mechanical assembly support on complex microwave subsystems, meeting daily output goals established by your lead.
• Work in a production environment to build circuit card assemblies. This includes manually soldering both surface mount and through‑hole components and the application of conformal coating after soldering.
• Carefully follow production documentation and processes, including keeping detailed records of rework performed.
• Actively participate in daily production meetings.
