Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC is seeking a manufacturing technician to improve the efficiency and quality of our production line, ensuring correct assembly and strict adherence to specifications.

You will work with microelectronic components under a microscope, perform setup and calibration, and collaborate with Process and Quality Engineering to resolve procedure challenges. The role includes two shifts (day or swing) and a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• 4 years prior work experience in microelectronic, hybrid and/or semiconductor assembly.
• Ability to use tweezers and other small hand-tools.
• Basic computer skills for documenting defects and time charging.
• Equipment set-up and calibration.
• Routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• This position requires access to technology controlled by US export laws; must be a “US Person” or eligible for approval.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in at least three of the following skills: wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, epoxy attach.
• Be able to handle devices and small components using tweezers under a microscope.
• Work independently and take ownership for quality; strive for continual improvements.
• Participate in meetings, suggest ideas, and help team meet daily production goals.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Work under a microscope 8 hours per day.
• Communicate in English and read work instructions; MIL-STD knowledge preferred.
• Perform equipment set-up and calibration; may perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with Process and Quality Engineering to troubleshoot and resolve procedure challenges.
