Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an assembler for Teledyne Microwave Solutions in Mountain View, CA. You will join a team that designs and manufactures advanced RF and microwave components for aerospace, defense, and communications, performing testing, assembly, and inspection.

The role requires strong manual dexterity, experience with thin-film assembly, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel, with U.S. Person status.

Qualifications

Strong manual dexterity and ability to work under a microscope.
Knowledge of thin-film assembly processes and MIC equipment.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Vocational or technical certificate in a related field and 5+ years of experience.
Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
U.S. Person status (citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee).

Responsibilities

Test, assemble and disassemble mechanical assemblies using standard and specialty tools.
Perform potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color-coding parts.
Adjust or trim materials to meet specified electrical or dimensional specs.
Troubleshoot and replace defects in finished products.
Rework and repair defective units rejected by inspection.
Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals to meet cleanliness specs.
Ensure quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
Record information on production records and logs.
