Job summary

Condux International Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Saw / Fabrication operator to set up and run saws and related equipment per blueprints and work instructions.

You will ensure materials and cut parts meet engineering specs while maintaining safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, maintaining tolerances, performing routine inspections, handling materials, and coordinating with leads and supervisors to prioritize work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions.
• English communication, verbal and written.
• Ability to use measuring tools and hand-powered equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate saws and fabrication equipment per blueprints and shop orders.
• Interpret technical drawings to maintain tolerances and determine setup and methods.
• Handle raw materials and finished parts within the saw area.
• Collaborate with leads, technicians, and supervisors to prioritize work.
• Use inspection tools to verify fit, form, and function meet specs.
• Perform daily inspections and basic quality checks.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform daily maintenance on saws and related equipment.
• Document material movement and support inventory accuracy.
• Provide feedback on issues related to blueprints or quality.
• Attend to overtime/weekend work as required.
