Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Saw Operator I at our Minnesota facility. You will set up and operate a single-blade saw, read production scheduling sheets, and identify material requirements for the job.

You will ensure material quality and safety, perform setups and feed material as specified, maintain records, and participate in safety and CI programs while upholding company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills and be able to read production scheduling sheets.
• Must have at least 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates a single-blade saw.
• Feeds material according to specifications.
• Ensures material meets quality specs (grade, size, moisture, etc).
• Performs preventive maintenance and safety checks as required.
• Maintains production records and clean, organized work area.
• Participates in safety programs and CI meetings.
