Job summary

The role sits in Liberty, SC in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division and involves assembling, testing and patching components of medical devices in a clean-room environment.

Expect to work with microscopes, small tools and precision equipment, while adhering to GMP and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Electronic assembly experience is preferred.
• Good hand-eye skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work with close supervision during training, then moderate supervision once competent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Working knowledge of GMP and ISO standards is preferred.
• Ability to interpret and understand production documents and drawings to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, welds, solders and x-rays medical devices and related parts using microscopes and applicable tools.
• Locates and corrects problems by examining x-rays and performing visual inspection of parts.
• Repairs and tests units using computerized test equipment.
• Examines medical devices and related assemblies after molding operations to locate bubbles and voids and patches epoxy as needed.
• Kits, assembles, bonds coats and processes medical devices and related parts.
• Notifies supervisor of the need to replenish supplies or production difficulties.
• Complies with FDA regulations, QMS/EMS and other regulatory requirements.
