Job summary

Abbott is hiring for a hands-on assembly role in a clean-room manufacturing environment. You will perform electronic assembly, welding, x-ray inspection, and subsequent testing on pacemakers and related medical devices with precision and diligence.

Responsibilities include visual inspection, epoxy patching, and documentation of device components while adhering to FDA regulations and company procedures. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic education with relevant assembly training in electronics or bio-medical devices.
• Experience in a clean-room environment and with bio-instrument assembly.
• Proven manual dexterity and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, weld, x-ray, and test medical devices and related parts.
• Inspect devices using microscopes and test equipment for quality.
• Patch and repair components; ensure adherence to procedures and documentation.
• Maintain clean-room standards and participate in continuous improvement.
• Operate packaging functions and assist with material replenishment as needed.
