Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with hands-on experience in medical device assembly.
• 2+ years of relevant training/experience in electronic device assembly.
• Experience in a bio-medical or clean-room environment with attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Performs Electronic Assembly: assembles, welds, solders and x-rays devices and related parts using microscopes and applicable tools.
• Locates and corrects problems by examining x-rays and performing visual inspection of parts; tests units with equipment.
• Performs Casting/Coating: repairs bubbles/epoxy; uses drills, knives and patches to cure patches via epoxy.
• Performs Mechanical Assembly: kits, bonds, coats and processes devices with precision tools and inspection.
• Performs Packaging: kits and packages devices; reviews device documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• May set-up/special test equipment and assist expediting priority tasks; notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Ensures compliance with FDA regulations and company procedures; maintains clear communications with team.
• Works in a production/clean-room environment with gowning; lifts up to ~25 pounds when needed.
