Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically six plus months of relevant training/experience in the assembly of digital/analog circuitry, devices, components or equivalent.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
• Must be able to use standard hand tools used in the assembly of bio-instruments/bio-devices.
• Must be able to multi-task and rotate through all jobs performed in the assigned work group.
• Strong reading, writing, and math skills; ability to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, weld, solder and x-ray medical devices and related parts using microscopes and applicable tools.
• Locate and correct problems by examining x-rays and performing visual inspection of parts.
• Repair and test units using computerized test equipment.
• Inspect molding operations and patch bubbles or voids as needed.
• Kit, assemble and package devices and related accessories.
• Review device documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Notify supervisor of supply needs and production difficulties.
• Support Quality Management Systems and regulatory requirements.
