Job summary

Abbott is seeking personnel to join a manufacturing team responsible for assembling and testing pacemakers, ICDs, leads and related devices in a controlled clean room.

The role involves mechanical, electrical, and quality-focused tasks, requiring dexterity, attention to detail, and adherence to FDA regulations. On-site work, overtime may be required, with comprehensive benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2 years of training/experience in assembling digital/analog circuitry or devices.
• 1 year in biomedical field or clean-room environment requiring environmental controls.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, weld, x-ray, repair and test medical devices and related parts using microscopes and tools.
• Locate and correct problems by inspecting parts and units with test equipment.
• Perform casting/coating and mechanical assembly tasks per process instructions.
• Package devices and accessories and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
