Alfa Laval in Greenwood, IN seeks a skilled mechanical technician to ensure the quality and reliability of equipment through thorough inspection and repair. You will disassemble, inspect, and reassemble components, documenting results and supporting corrective actions.

This on-site role offers growth, teamwork, and the opportunity to work with precision tools while adhering to strict quality standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years in manual repair, workshop, or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Skilled in using micrometers and gauges in both English and metric measurements.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and SharePoint preferred.

Mansioni

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble mechanical equipment and subassemblies.
• Use precision tools to evaluate parts against specifications and document inspection results.
• Interpret technical documents and digital tools to identify repair needs and create inspection plans.
• Perform calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Support investigations into equipment failures and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Communicate with customers and vendors regarding products and services.
• Participate in internal audits and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
