Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated / Sargent Aerospace & Defense is seeking a Manufacturing Tech I in Tucson, AZ to process components through the liner process. You will set up and operate machinery, read drawings, maintain logs, and ensure a clean, safe work area consistent with quality systems.

The role requires reading and writing English, high school education, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision. Overtime may be required as production demands rise.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must follow detailed instructions, do accurate work at a rapid pace and meet scheduling deadlines.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks quickly and methodically.
• Available to work overtime as required.
• Must be able to read blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Work on feet for entire shift.
• Ability to read part drawings (flag notes, dimensions, tolerances).
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery in support of the production process.
• Process components through the liner process.
• Complete daily production logs as required.
• Complete required equipment maintenance checks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adhere to internal quality systems and procedures.
• Read drawings/prints and follow documented procedures.
• Ensure safety is foundational to daily work.
