Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must follow detailed instructions, do accurate work at a rapid pace and meet scheduling deadlines.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks quickly and methodically.
• Available to work overtime as required.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, and handle objects. The employee is occasionally required to push/pull and reach above shoulder level. The employee must be able to carry/lift up to 40 pounds and be able to rotate item being handled.
• Work on feet for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery in support of the production process.
• Read specifications on drawing/print and documented procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Use basic hand tools and machines as required (e.g., sandblaster, speed lathe).
• Read blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Maintain quality control and document daily production logs.
• Complete required equipment maintenance checks.
• Comply with internal quality systems and procedures.
