Job summary

Sargent Aerospace & Defense in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Manufacturing Tech I to process components through the liner process and support production activities.

You will set up and operate machinery, read blueprints, document logs, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while following quality procedures. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read/write English, and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• Must read and write English.
• Must follow detailed instructions, do accurate work quickly and meet deadlines.
• Manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Overtime may be required.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must read blueprints/engineering drawings and work per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery to support production.
• Read and interpret drawings/prints and documented procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Complete daily production logs and equipment maintenance checks.
• Comply with internal quality systems and procedures.
