Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Tech I in Tucson, AZ. This role processes components through the liner and machinery, reading blueprints, and maintaining safety and quality standards on the production floor.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, logging daily production data, and performing maintenance checks. The candidate must read English, lift up to 40 lbs, and work overtime as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must follow detailed instructions, do accurate work at a rapid pace and meet scheduling deadlines.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to carry out complex, repetitive tasks quickly and methodically.
• Available to work overtime as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints/engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Work on feet for entire shift.
• Be able to lift up to 40 pounds and rotate items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery in support of the production process.
• Process components through the liner process.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Complete daily production logs and required equipment maintenance checks.
• Adhere to internal quality systems and procedures.
• Read drawings and follow documented procedures to specifications.
• Demonstrate safety and teamwork in daily activities.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors.
