Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a CNC Operator II to run manual and CNC machines, producing small to medium components either as finished parts or for assembly. You will set up machines, load tools and fixtures, and verify program parameters for accuracy while following safety procedures.

The role requires 2-3 years of CNC experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment. Onsite hours; flexibility for evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator with at least 2-3 years of experience in CNC machining operations.
• Knowledge of G-code programming is a plus
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tool selection, and CNC machine operation
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
• Effective communication and teamwork to meet production goals
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
• Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies
• Operates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes
• Positions parts in specified locations using fastening devices
• Uses precision measuring tools as required
• Verifies accuracy of completed product or batch
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Completes all necessary paperwork and verifies machine settings and program parameters
