Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Machinist II to operate, set up, and troubleshoot CNC and manual equipment to produce precision parts. A solid understanding of machining principles, blueprint reading, and quality control is essential.

You will read blueprints, select tooling, inspect parts with calipers and micrometers, and work with engineers to optimize production while maintaining safety. This full-time onsite role includes health/dental/vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in machining or manufacturing.
• Proficient with CNC and manual equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring tools and QC techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills, including understanding measurements and tolerances.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to fabricate precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and drawings to determine specifications and tooling.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges; adjust as needed to maintain quality.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity and safety.
• Diagnose machine issues and coordinate with maintenance for complex repairs.
• Follow all safety procedures and keep the workspace clean and organized.
• Collaborate with engineers and other machinists to optimize production.
