Copeland is hiring a Machine Operator for the 1st shift in Indiana. You will operate conventional, NC and CNC equipment to fabricate metallic parts in an ISO9001 environment, following work instructions and safety protocols.

You will train others and support continuous improvements while maintaining records and performing basic quality checks. The role requires blueprint reading, use of inspection gauges, shop math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform physical work.
• Experience reading blueprints and using inspection gauges.
• Ability to perform shop math and read job instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Operates machinery (manual, NC, CNC) in assigned area safely.
• Learn and demonstrate setup of Manual/NC/CNC equipment.
• Work cross functionally between machines and cells.
• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions.
• Verify conformance of work piece to specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve issues.
• Initiate and support process improvements and documentation.
• Train other team members in assigned operations.
• Follow Work Instructions to meet production standards.
• Maintain hourly/daily activity records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and health standards.
