Job summary

CPM Acquisition Corp. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for 1st shift to set up and operate CNC and manual lathes for precision turning, threading, and finish machining. The role requires reading blueprints and GD&T, selecting precision tools, and maintaining quality standards.

You will work with metal materials, follow safety procedures, document production activities, and contribute to a team-driven, quality-focused environment. 1–2 years machining experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related machining experience preferred.
• Understanding of precision manufacturing tools and their proper use.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T symbols, tolerancing, and blueprint reading.
• Ability to accurately use precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual lathe equipment to produce precision components.
• Perform precision turning, threading, and finish turning to required dimensions and tolerances.
• Straighten steel material to meet specifications.
• Inspect materials and finished parts for quality conformance.
• Read blueprints and GD&T requirements; select appropriate measuring tools.
• Document production, quality, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
