TT Machining & Fabricating in Michigan City, IN is seeking a skilled machinist who can own a job from start to finish. You will program parts offline and on the machine, set up and operate Hurco and Mazak mills and lathes, and dial in tight tolerances while inspecting your work.

You will work from 2D prints and 3D models, editing geometry as needed, and select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds. This position is full-time on-site in a precision CNC shop with a team that values craftsmanship.

Formación

• Must have real CNC programming experience, on machine and offline from CAD/CAM sources.
• Hands-on CAD/CAM experience with Fusion 360, BobCAD, and DraftSight or close equivalents.
• Experience operating Hurco and Mazak mills and lathes is strongly preferred.
• Background in a job shop setting with fast setups and varied work is valuable.
• Strong print reading and inspection skills using micrometers, calipers, and indicators.

Responsabilidades

• Program parts offline in Fusion 360 and BobCAD, and at the control.
• Work from 2D prints and 3D models, and draft or edit geometry.
• Set up and run Hurco and Mazak mills and lathes.
• Dial in tight tolerances and inspect your own work.
• Choose tooling, speeds, and feeds for the material.
• Move from job to job in a busy shop environment.
