Job summary

80/20 LLC is seeking an Extrusion Operator for the 1st shift (Mon-Thurs, 4am–2pm) in Columbia City, IN. You will perform saw operation, machining, and CNC tasks to cut material per order specs and ensure quality before progressing to the next station.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong math skills, blueprint reading, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs for a 10-hour day. On-site work with cross-training opportunities and a positive, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Good math skills and ability to convert measurements.
• Willingness to participate in cross training and take initiative.
• Ability to clearly communicate problems and needs.
• Ability to read blueprints and translate into cuts/holes.
• Must stand, bend, squat, lift up to 40 lbs for a 10-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow start up procedures at the start of shift.
• Operate saw, perform machining and CNC tasks per order specs.
• Quality check materials for variances before progressing.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper shutdown procedures.
• Willingness to assist with washing bars during training or as needed.
• Use order tracking software to process orders from start to finish.
