Cornerstone Building Brands in Shelbyville, Indiana, is seeking a Machine Operator I to set up and operate heavy machinery and CNC-controlled equipment. You will follow safety rules, read blueprints, and ensure quality finished parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 1+ year of manufacturing experience, basic math and measurement skills, and the ability to work overtime. Pay is $19.25 per hour with shifts varying by orders and season.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating manufacturing machinery required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime/weekends.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate heavy machinery and CNC-controlled machines (presses, lasers, rolling mills).
• Follow safety rules and maintain quality standards.
• Read blueprints and specs to select materials and correct part features.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and adjustments on equipment.
• Record part numbers and quantities and attach relevant tags.
