Reliance, Inc. is seeking a machine operator to support fabrication production processes in our Alabama facility. The role focuses on setting up equipment, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality through inspections.

You will participate in training to develop skills in reading plans, operating various machines, and performing routine maintenance while adhering to safety standards and production targets.

Formación

• 1 year of experience as a machine operator is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and use measuring instruments; in-house training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare production equipment by setting up and coordinating with a setup operator.
• Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and tooling requirements.
• Maintain quality by performing first-piece and periodic inspections and recording results.
• Train others in production tasks and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain equipment by solving issues, adjusting as needed, and reporting data.
• Ensure safe operation by following maintenance policies and reporting repairs.
• Support team goals and adapt to re-assignments as needed.
• Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Perform routine machine maintenance such as oiling and part replacements.
• Meet production standards and keep work area clean and organized.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
