Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a machine operator is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, work orders, and use various measuring instruments is preferred. Development of these skills provided through in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production equipment by setting up and assisting in changeovers.
• Read blueprints and planning sheets to determine tooling and process steps.
• Maintain quality standards with inspections and production charts.
• Train others in production procedures and machinery operation.
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment; report issues and data.
• Follow preventative maintenance policies and keep equipment in good condition.
• Support team goals and reallocate tasks as needed.
• Observe machines to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Perform basic machine maintenance such as oiling and tool changes.
• Meet production standards and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Adhere to safety policies and perform other duties as assigned.
