Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a dependable Machine Operator for our fabrication production line in Fort Payne, AL. You will read blueprints, set up equipment, run processes, and ensure the quality of produced parts while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, training teammates, and assisting with maintenance as part of a collaborative manufacturing team. Prior machine operation experience is a plus and in-house training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints, work orders, and uses measuring tools as part of setup and inspection.
• 1 year of machine operator experience a plus, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production equipment by setting up and adjusting machinery.
• Read blueprints and planning sheets to determine tooling and sequence.
• Perform first-piece and periodic inspections to ensure quality.
• Train other team members on standard operating procedures and safety.
• Maintain equipment, perform routine maintenance, and report issues.
• Keep work area clean and organized and adhere to safety policies.
